Molecule Role Annotation MUTATION: Ccp1 is a mitochondrial antioxidant that catalyzes the degradation of hydrogen peroxide. The mutant showed attenuated resistance to exogenous oxidative stress in vitro but does not diminish the virulence of C.neofromans in a murine model (Giles et al., 2005).
