Molecule Role Annotation Spf1is a putative ER-localized P-type calcium ATPase in C. albicans. Deletion of SPF1 severely attenuated the virulence of Candida albicans in the mouse model. In contrast with the wild-type, SPF1 mutant produced little biomass and is defective for invasion in mouse kidneys. (Yu et al., 2012)
