Molecule Role Annotation the TOP2 gene played an important role in pathogenicity of C.albicans. The absence of TOP2 gene increased hypha formation, proteinases and phospholipase secretory activities, and so increased pathogenicity of C. albicans. (Zheng and Yu, 2012)
