Molecule Role Annotation In Candida albicans, the mannosyltransferase, Mnn2, gene family is comprised of six members (MNN2, MNN21, MNN22, MNN23, MNN24 and MNN26) .Deletion of all MNN2 gene family members increased the average survival of the moth larvae by 50%, and the sextuple mutant was attenuated in virulence with 100% of mice surviving infection with the sextuple mutant.(Hall et al., 2013)
