Molecule Role Virulence factor
Molecule Role Annotation Mutant UL21 was constructed by insertion of an oligonucleotide that contains stop codons, In two PRV mutants carrying the oligonucleotide at two sites within UL21, processing of newly replicated viral DNA was impaired. The results show that one of the UL21 mutants has strongly reduced virulence for mice. (de et al., 1992)
